for West Sacramento Mayor

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE: Why I’m Running for Mayor

I'm running for mayor because I want the best for West Sacramento. Our community deserves a leader with a strategic vision to drive progress, deliver results, and unify the City Council. As Vice Mayor, a proud Elkhorn Tiger mom, and the CEO of a large nonprofit that advocates for the most vulnerable, I’m committed to making West Sacramento work for everyone.

My highest priority is the safety of our community.

I will work to provide first responders with the resources they need, improve levees and storm drains to protect against flooding, allocate more funds to fix roads, address energy reliability and costs, and create additional housing.

I have championed smart growth and development.

I have voted to increase funding for police and fire, allocate over $30 million to rebuild roads and connect neighborhoods, and support the construction of over 300 affordable housing units. I led the effort to revitalize the historic Pheasant Club into several new restaurants, opened miles of new trails, and extended free transportation from Broderick and Bryte to the Recreation Center.

We need a mayor who provides steady and consistent leadership for our city’s critical programs.

West Sacramento voters will always know where I stand. I’ve always supported the Home Run Program, our award-winning cradle-to-career program for youth, the VIA shuttle service, and key transportation improvements. While on a special task force, I proposed the idea of our police co-responder unit. On the council, I have continued to support this program that has enhanced our ability to respond to mental health-related calls. My dedication to our first responders, families, workers, and businesses is unwavering.

Our city deserves a mayor who proactively seeks business investment. I am so proud to have been named Most Admired CEO and a Women Who Mean Business honoree by the Sacramento Business Journal, a Women in Leadership honoree by Comstock’s Magazine, and inducted into the Centennial Business Hall of Fame by the Sacramento Metro Chamber. My commitment to results will continue as we welcome the A’s to our city. Our city deserves to receive the same benefits as other cities with major league baseball teams.

I’m honored to be endorsed by Supervisor Oscar Villegas, Councilmembers Quirina Orozco and Verna Sulpizio Hull, Mayor Christopher Cabaldon (ret), and Senator Richard Pan (ret).

We are at a critical moment in time where we need strong leadership so we can have a brighter future. I’d be honored to earn your vote.
